Meet the silver 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek—a wagon that’s always down for the long way home. With a 2.0L 16V DOHC 4-cylinder gasoline engine and Subaru’s full-time AWD, it’s built for commuters who occasionally turn “just groceries” into a gravel-road detour. The Lineartronic CVT keeps things smooth, and when you’re feeling a little more hands-on, the steering-wheel paddle shifters and 6-speed manual mode let you play along.

Confident and composed is the vibe here: responsive electric power steering, a well-sorted suspension, and 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, brake assist, and hill hold control for those stop-and-go hills. Outside, the Crosstrek’s stance is finished off with 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, deep tinted glass, and a rear wiper/defroster that’s ready for messy weather.

Inside, it’s comfortable and practical—heated front bucket seats, automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel make daily driving feel like less of a chore. There’s room to stretch out and space to stash your stuff, with a split-folding rear seat and easy liftgate access.

And for extra peace of mind, a CARFAX report is available for this Crosstrek.
